Introduction, principles of well testing, conventional and modern well test interpretation methods, effect of reservoir boundaries, reservoir aspects, well aspects, fluid aspects, interferences and pulse test, well test design.
Course Outcomes :
At the end of this course it is expected that student will be able to:
- Explain the basic types of well tests
- Explain basic principles of well tests
- Interpret tests using conventional, types curves and derivative methods
- Use computer based well test analysis software
- Set actual test objectives and design a test
