  Synopsis Kursus ini mendedahkan pelajar kepada kesyumulan Islam melalui keunggulan institusi-institusinya.Ia membincangkan institusi-institusi keluarga, sosial, pendidikan, ekonomi,perundangan, kehakiman dan penguatkuasaan serta politik menurut perspektifIslam. Perbincangan difokuskan kepada konsep kekeluargaan, penghayatan, danpelaksanaannya; konsep sosial dan tanggungjawab masyarakat; falsafah dan sistempendidikan Islam; konsep ekonomi Islam, perbankan dan insurans; konsep danciri-ciri perundangan, kedudukan perundangan Islam dalam perlembagaan Malaysia;konsep kehakiman dan prosedur-prosedur mahkamah yang melibatkan persaksian,pendakwaan, pembuktian dan keterangan; konsep penguatkuasaan zaman awal Islamyang terbahagi kepada wilayah al-qada’, wilayah al-hisbah dan al-mazalim sertaaplikasinya di Malaysia masa kini; konsep politik dan bidang kuasanya yangmerangkumi eksekutif, legislatif, dan judikatif.
